Lip plumping products are no different. From glosses that sting to vacum-like sucking cups (no and no), I am on the search for something that works, gently, and effectively as my own lips start to pucker and prune.
I'm not a lip-filler lover. As always, a little goes a long way here and too much filler makes everything look artificial. (She's obviously had her lips filled...so what other work has she got done?)
(That's what I always think anyway!)
So, for "natural" plumpers I've got three I can review that will give lasting results and not make you look weird.
We'll start from no to go:
The Revive Red Light device for lips
Pros: Inexpensive, small, targeted
Cons: Lips only, sits far away from lips (light shines in my eyes), not as effective as I'd like, have to wait for results to occur.
Clareblend LED red light tool
Pros: Inexpensive, small, somewhat targeted, can use all over face/hands, chest
Cons: Could have a little "lip" around light surface to keep light focused on the area; have to wait for results to occur, small light face means longer treatment time (3 min. per spot)
Time Master Pro:
Pros: Very effective at subtle but visible plumping, red light setting for collagen boosting, level variables, ultrasound "massage" + LED gives immediate results, quick treatments (10 minutes) Cons: Pricey, requires conductive gel (yes, over lips!)
Summing it up:
The Revive was the most lip-targeted device, but it didn't really seem to do much over time. I reverted back to using my other tools and this one sits in the drawer :(
The Clareblend is a great tool that you can use all over and I still use it over Sculplla pro treatment masks, after microneedling and on my hands and face!
My favorite is the TMP - works fast and gives instant as well as cumulative results -- not just on lips but all over my face, hands, arms.

I have both the MINI and the TMP and I see what you mean by they do different things. I do a TMP treatment and then apply a mask and do my MINI treatment and I swear it looks like I just got a light filler...I'm going to use this instead of getting filler. I'm super pleased. Janie, IL
