With all the new "hot" skincare that has come along in the last several years, this "oldie, but a goodie" has been passed to the side.
Is it still a player?
Absolutely. I don't think you'll find a professional in the skincare industry that would delete it from the line up of recommended products. It still is the leader in brightening and rejuvenating, although now it's often blended into other products.
One of my favorite ways to use this?
I mix a few drops with my SupremeFirm Serum for a boosting daytime serum that firms and gives me a nice smooth canvas for makeup/sunscreen.
This combo has hyaluronic acid, DMAE (firming), roseflower water and other natural/organic ingredients that are gentle, yet effective.
No matter how much we avoid the sun. No matter our skin tone or color. No matter how good we think we are with our skincare.
Spots. Discoloration and general "Blah" skin.
My best (and easiest) tips:
Vitamin C - as stated above, it's still a top player in keeping your skin bright and even.
LED - green light therapy is the standard for brightening (available on the Time Master Pro), but any good quality LED/red light therapy is excellent for helping to even skintone, boost collagen. I always use this when I do the pro-level Sculplla treatments. (LED hand-held
device)
Note: The multi-function flashing LED feature on the TMP is awesome at instantly brightening skin. I absolutely love this feature about the device; my skin is always bright and glowing after a treatment (anyone else agree?)
Whitening Serum - while this is serum for lightening skintone (a top priority for S. Korean/Asian women), it can be a really nice benefit to generally clear and even skin that has discoloration and brown spots.
Also, you can get laser treatments that zap away discoloration, use things like hydroquinone topicals or just ramp up the coverage of your foundation if nothing else works.
Clearing away serious spots takes some consistent effort (or pro-treatments), but generally lightening and brightening skin tone is easy if you follow a consistent regimen with some of the items I've mentioned above.
Bright skin looks more youthful, so it's worth the effort!
