In a nut shell...they build collagen. Collagen = plump, youthful skin.
Do they build volume?
No, they don't build the type of volume a filler, such as Juvederm or Voluma build. Anyone who says they now have voluminous cheekbones (that didn't exist before) due to a serum is not being honest.
These Sculplla products build a different type of volume: skin density volume.
What is that?
Density is the thickness of your skin. Thick skin = youthful skin.
Aging skin is thinner, dehydrated and more apt to be crepey and wrinkled.
Youthful skin (like a chubby baby or cherubic little tot) has plump skin.
That's what these products will do with continued use.
It's something you can actually feel and see, but you will not look like you just came from the Master Injector's office. It's a natural building of your own underlying collagen.
I've been impressed with it in my own skin. I didn't think my skin was that bad until I started doing the Sculplla products. Now I can see and feel a visible difference. More density, more glow, more even skintone and certainly a plumpness that I was losing.
My lines are softened and my skin has a glow and a plumpness. I still have do regular exfoliations, continued microcurrent and LED, but I can see the regimen taking hold in myself and clients.
You can sculpt cheekbones (a bit) with microcurrent, but you can't build volume with that tool. The collagen builders like LED red light and a Sculplla product are what you need.
It takes a little time, but so far, so good!
