I'm on a mission...eradicate jowls!
I know, it's a bit pie-in-the-sky, but so far, so good.
My super simple jowl massage technique (see video) works, but here are a couple of other things that I've also found that help:
1. Facial fat will tend to settle where gravity takes it. It's a drag, I know, but reducing even a few pounds will help thin out your face. Since our face is one of the first places where fat will be noticeably gone, just a little helps.
I've found deleting "white carbs" from my diet helps the most for me and I only allow one splurge day a week (usually my beloved pizza!). Find what your culprit is and reduce from your diet for the quickest way to reduce facial fat.
2. Massage (see video) is great to break up fatty deposits and lymph -- a major culprit of our fatty jowls, double chin, puffy eyes. Start to do regular facial massage (very gently and NEVER pull/tug the skin) and you will see results in just a few weeks.
3. Microcurrent - I know, I'm a broken record, but this is a true remedy for lifting and toning those underlying muscles and skin sag.
Do this after your massage for best results (every other day), drink lots of water, reduce the diet culprit (for you it may be sugar or late-night eating?), and use good firming agents in your skincare.
It all works together. Be consistent and by this time next month, you'll see a more defined jawline. It takes time, but being in control of your own face (no Dr required), is a great reward!
