{Ageless} Tips to naturally plump your lips (what I found that works) and a NEW freebie alert!

Natural lip plumpers.
Do they even exist?
Over the years I've realized my aging lips are no longer the nice, plump lips from my youth. They've gotten more shriveled, dry, less shapely.
And certainly less plump.
I've tried many options including those stingy lip plumping "glosses" that swell your lips but also irritate the heck out you while you're wearing them.
I like natural options...things I can do at home that don't require injections or chemicals.
By using my MINI with some particular moves around the lip area, I've been able to help keep them shaped, corners turned up (vs. down -- the hallmark of aging lips), and even plump them ... a bit.
When I added microneedling, I really saw good results, especially when I used a nice peptide and/or hyaluronic lip serum after.
But just recently after trying oh-so-many lip products, I found one that actually really helps.
It's called City Lips and you've likely heard of it. It's full of hyaluronic acid (a great plumper), peptides as well as some other nice lip properties.
I like it because it has a real result, it has no flavor and it can be used alone or under lipstick.
After a quick exfoliation (you don't need pricey lip scrubs - a quick going over with your toothbrush or a nubby washcloth will work), either apply the City Lips - or do a quick microneedle treatment - then apply City Lips. Let it sit for about a minute or two and then, if desire, apply lip color.
Your pruney, aging lips will again look a bit more plump and full and you can again wear some vibrant colors! I gave them up and went for nudes because my brick reds and plums no longer looked nice. Now I can wear them again!
Why you should never use flavored lip balm/gloss:
Those delicious vanilla mint balms and glosses always get me. I love them. But...subconsciously I was applying them, licking them off (my tongue would fine a way to taste them, hence, remove them, and I'd have to re-apply again, and again, and again.
When I stopped using flavored products, my lips got more hydrated and looked better. So if you are using a flavored balm or gloss, switch to unflavored and see if things don't improve as your tongue won't find its way to the flavor and ultimately work against you!
