For true results, there are a few tools you should add to your arsenal to shave off the years.
Skincare devices...which will target what YOU need?
For wrinkles, the best product is: LED Red Light Therapy This tool builds collagen, helps plump up the skin (semi-permanently) and will help "fill in
wrinkles"
For sagging, the best product is: Microcurrent This tool will literally plump and help lift and tone your muscles, which are what cause the sagging effect. This is a temporary fix, however done consistently (a few times a week), you can get results that that last.
For skin renewal, the best product is: Glycolic Peel In my opinion, this the best exfoliation. You can use a scrub or a dermabrasion, but those ultimately cause tiny, microscopic "tears" in the skin. Acid peels gently "unglue" the old skin cells and free them to wash away.
Discount store/grocery...not the best "active" products
Health food store...pricey
Department store...uber-pricey
Of course, I'd suggest purchasing from a known professional vs. buying any over-hyped, celebrity-endorsed products. also, I love a good deal just as much as the next person, but buying on bargain sites can leave you with
unauthentic products or products from overseas (who knows what's in it?).
If you have to, buy from a reputable health food store. They are a bit pricey, but you can generally count on quality, freshness and that the item is authentic.
A word about "actives": If you're plunking down your cash, you should consider buying products with the highest level of actives...stem cells, retinols, vitamins, peptides, etc. Spending a lot of money doesn't always equate to high-actives. Be sure you are getting what you pay for!
