Fabulous new serum by NEOGENESIS
It's the Skin Restore Serum - a Vitamin A Retinoate
What is Retinoate?
While both are forms of vitamin A used in skincare, "retinoate" is a more potent and active form of the ingredient compared to "retinol," meaning retinoate directly delivers the benefits of vitamin A to the skin, while retinol needs to be converted into retinoic acid first.
More potent than retinol.
I've been using/testing this and I have to say I am impressed. I love the silky texture of the serum and the radiance I am getting.
Used twice weekly, at night, this is not irritating or causing andy redness or dryness. I am prone to a little rosacea, so I do get a little more pink than usual after using, but not red or irritated.
If you are looking for a potent,
but gentle retinol or alternative, consider the new Skin Restore Serum or try the QUL Skin Repair Complex. It is a gentle, but effective serum and highly moisturizing.
With either, I would suggest not using daily. They can be irritating if used too often. Twice weekly seems to be a great fit into my own skincare routine. And as always, use RETINOLS or alternative at night only!
