I've been using this for about a month.
Here is my PROS/CONS lineup for this newer addition to the Neogenesis family:
-Gentle refinement - nothing harsh or difficult about using this.
-Nice formulation - very smooth and silky. Penetrates quickly
-Nice retinol alternative if you don't want to use a more potent version.
-Great for aging skin - skin over 50 should not use a harsh retinol (IMO) - I find it better to use a more gentle alternative type so it does not cause more trouble than
benefits.
-Very gentle - if you are looking for a "hard hitting retinol" this is not it
-Pricey, but you can try it with a small trial bottle (love that!)
-Use PM only and let it fully penetrate, then a thin layer of Neogenesis Barrier cream works nicely over it.
Note: All
Neogenesis products are a little pricey, but for those of us who love the line know, they pack a punch! The work. Period.
Having the option to try in a smaller size is such a winning idea - I'm glad they offer it!
I will continue to use this product and cycle it every other month with the QUL Skin Repair (another very gentle but effective retinol alternative).
